Authors, along with co-authors, bear the foremost responsibility for the accuracy of the data submitted and pledge to uphold the following ethical principles:

  1. Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could affect the publication.

  2. Absence of Contractual Obligations: Authors must ensure the absence of contractual obligations or ownership interests that may influence the publication of the submitted information.

  3. Exclusive Submission: Authors must refrain from submitting a manuscript to the ScienceBook service if it has been sent to another publisher and is under consideration elsewhere. Such submissions may be treated as "In press" publications, potentially causing harm to both the publisher and the reputation and finances of the ScienceBook service.

  4. Publication Integrity: Authors must ensure that their publication is not defamatory, does not breach personal confidentiality, is not under a court order, and does not contain information that could pose a significant risk to public health if used.

Publication Ethics for Distribution: Responsibilities of the Publication Distributor

The Publication Distributor (ScienceBook service) assumes responsibility for publishing authors' content and is bound by the following ethical principles:

  1. Thorough Review Process: The ScienceBook service rigorously reviews and verifies all submissions for publication and reserves the right to reject them if necessary.

  2. Impartial Evaluation: All submissions are evaluated impartially, regardless of race, color, political views, religion, gender, ethnicity, social background, property status, language, or other characteristics, as well as the authors' place of work.

  3. Timely Consideration: The ScienceBook service promptly considers all submissions for publication.

  4. Confidentiality: Confidentiality regarding the content of pending submissions is maintained, with information shared only among individuals involved in the processing of the submission.

  5. Respect for Intellectual Independence: The ScienceBook service respects the intellectual independence of authors.

  6. Conflict Resolution: The service facilitates conflict resolution if convincing evidence is provided that the publication lacks the necessary permissions for Open Access and/or is "pirated."

  7. Enforcement of Lawful Practices: Unlawfully posted submissions are removed from the site and its database upon verification of such violations.

Exception: Non-discrimination principles do not apply to individuals and legal entities residing in the Russian Federation, a state engaged in armed aggression against Ukraine, and the Republic of Belarus, as well as individuals located within the territories of these states.
