The object of research is technology of fatty acids production from soapstock with the use of sulfuric acid decomposition.
The aim of research is to dependence of the yield and the neutralization number of fatty acids on the soapstock treatment.
Main scientific results imply the following. Regression dependences was established of the yield and the neutralization number of fatty acids on the processing conditions of soapstock: temperature and duration.
Scope of application: it will make it possible to obtain high quality fatty acids in industrial conditions and predict the yield and neutralization number of fatty acids.
Limitations for practical use: the resulting fatty acids must be washed from sulfuric acid residues and checked for the presence of sulfate ions with the calcium chloride solution.
